Peach and Appleblossom is a dark two-act play, about passion and obsession, and the fine line between the two. It follows a few months in the life of Dan, a second year history student, who falls for his brother’s girlfriend. As his brother’s feelings for Lucy grow over several weeks, so do his own, and he begins to manipulate those around him. He begins an affair with her, and as the relationships between the characters become strained and the emotions grow more intense, the events brought on by Dan’s actions rush towards a staggering conclusion.

SuTCo’s upcoming production of this play showcases the techniques of absudism that made the 1950s arguably the greatest era of experimental theatre.
